After training in Capoeira for 6 years Marcus begun to look into Break Dancing and found similarities between the two arts. Having Capoeira behind me certainly has a big influence on my style of teaching. I believe it is important to adapt to different styles of movement and to allow your body to become versatile using varied techniques and precision in dance. Marcus has worked with companies such as Street stage , and Twisted Elements.
My main influence is my friend Kieran Edmonds (www.kieranedmonds.co.uk), who is still a big part of Flaw R Tists. Through him I was able to begin teaching in and around Oxfordshire. Marcus now has around nine classes that he teaches publicly and privately he also does demonstrations and advertising shows in and around Oxfordshire using a variety of techniques used in popular forms of dance. Confidence and dedication is the key to a successful dance career, it's not just about hearing the music, and it's about feeling the music.
